Many Ugandan children lack the resources they require to survive, study, and develop because individuals in positions of power ignore them, refuse to listen to them, and are not held accountable when they fail them. We encourage children to stand up for their rights and hold governments and other powerful actors accountable, as well as campaign for laws, policies, and budgets that prioritize children. It provides children’s rights to express themselves, as well as to be heard and considered by decision-makers. We’re now working on developing kid-friendly versions so that kids are aware of their rights.
