We need their voices in the creation and implementation of laws, policies and budgets. And they must have the opportunity to campaign, influence and hold decision makers to account.
We’ve established children’s councils at schools so that students can voice their concerns and ideas to the administration, and we’ve aided children’s groups in discussing and developing their own solutions to the difficulties they encounter. We encourage the creation of children’s parliaments and other forums for children to interact with those in positions of authority.
