Flash floods and landslides are common in parts of Uganda, and they may wipe out a family’s livelihood in an instant. We collaborate with affected communities and local governments to assist put in place measures to prevent future disasters, such as building bridges, desilting riverbeds, and erecting flood defenses. We assist affected families in rebuilding their lives by assisting village disaster management committees.
